AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR RENT IN PATERSON, NJ The Wayne Ave Apartments are new apartments for rent located at 157 Wayne Ave in Paterson, New Jersey. This is a 4-unit apartment building consisting of one studio unit (397 sq. ft, $1,003 monthly rent), one 1 Bedroom unit (625 sq. ft., $1,493 monthly rent), and two 2 Bedroom units (921 sq. ft., $1,373 to 1,733 monthly rent). Interested applicants' households are not to exceed a maximum of 4 persons based on unit size (family size and composition must accommodate unit size) and household income must not exceed maximum moderate-income levels. Starting on Friday, April 3, 2026 preliminary applications can be picked up at New Jersey Community Development Corporation (NJCDC) located at 32 Spruce Street in Paterson between the hours of 9:30 AM and 4:30 PM. An electronic version will also be available on NJHMFA's Housing Resource Center Website located at https://www.nj.gov/njhrc. All applications must be returned to New Jersey Community Development Corporation (NJCDC) at 32 Spruce Street, Paterson, New Jersey, 07501 in-person between the hours of 9:30 AM and 4:30 PM Monday through Friday or by mail to the same address prior to the June 4, 2026 deadline. Mailed applications must be postmarked by June 4, 2026. ONLY HARD COPIES OF THE PRELIMINARY APPLICATION WILL BE ACCEPTED.
