AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR RENT IN PATERSON, NJ
 
The Mill Place Apartments are new apartments for rent located at 105 Mill Street in Paterson, New Jersey. This is a 3-unit apartment building consisting of three 2 bedroom units (943 to 1,057 sq. ft.). All units have a qualifying economic income limit between 50% and 80% AMI.
 
Interested applicants' households are not to exceed a maximum of 4 persons and household income must not exceed maximum moderate-income levels.

Mill Place Apartments (Three 2 Bedroom Units)
Monthly Rents Range from $1,372-$1,733 based on qualifying income. Applicants will be approved based on a final review of applications by the State of New Jersey. Utilities are not included.

• individual heating and cooling in units
• shared backyard space
 
To Obtain an Application: Paper versions of the preliminary application will be made available beginning on Friday, April 3, 2026 through Thursday, June 4, 2026. Preliminary applications may be submitted between April 3, 2026 and June 4, 2026. All preliminary applications collected during the 60 day period are assigned a number in the order they are received. Preliminary application numbers will then be randomized and prospective tenants will be contacted to complete a full application and interviewed in the order determined by a blind lottery. Starting on Friday, April 3, 2026 preliminary applications can be picked up at New Jersey Community Development Corporation (NJCDC) located at 32 Spruce Street in Paterson between the hours of 9:30 AM and 4:30 PM. An electronic version will also be available on NJHMFA's Housing Resource Center Website located at https://www.nj.gov/njhrc. All applications must be returned to New Jersey Community Development Corporation (NJCDC) at 32 Spruce Street, Paterson, New Jersey, 07501 in-person between the hours of 9:30 AM and 4:30 PM Monday through Friday or by mail to the same address prior to the June 4, 2026 deadline. Mailed applications must be postmarked by June 4, 2026.
 
ONLY HARD COPIES OF THE PRELIMINARY APPLICATION WILL BEACCEPTED. An in-person meeting and the completion of a full application with all required financial documentation with qualified applicants will be required as part of the selection process. Final decisions on tenant selection will be made by the State of New Jersey.
