GREENE COUNTY BIDS The Village of Athens is requesting proposals for tree services including planting, removal and maintenance and educational services. This proposal is to be made under prevailing wage guidelines and worker's compensation coverage when applicable. To receive a copy of the specifications and documents required to submit a proposal, please contact the Village Office by email: clerk@athensvillageny.gov [clerk@athensvillageny.gov] or telephone (518)945-1551 Monday through Friday between the hours of 9am and 4pm. Specifications will also be available online at athensvillageny.gov/tree-service-rfp. Sealed bids will be accepted and must be received by email or mail by 12:00pm, June 1st, 2026: Village Clerk, 2 First St., Athens, NY 12015 ATTN: Village Clerk. Bids will be opened by the Village Clerk on June 1 at 1pm in the Village Office. Bids will be reviewed by the Village Board and Conservation Advisory Council. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all proposals in their entirety or in part, depending on whatever is demonstrated to be in the best interest of the Village.
