Legal Notices NOTICE TO BIDDERS The City of Jamestown is requesting sealed bids for: CONCRETE WORK: STREET RECONSTRUCTION 2026 HALL AVENUE From: Front Avenue to Palmer Street NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed proposals for furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor required for the subject project, will be received and considered by the CITY OF JAMESTOWN Department of Public Works up until 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. Either: 1.) HARD COPY - at the office of the City Clerk, Municipal Building, 200 E. Third Street, Jamestown, NY 14701, OR 2.) electronically via the Bid Net Direct platform - https://www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york/jamestownnydpw, and Then, at 10:30 AM in the office of the Department of Public Works, 145 Steele Street, Jamestown, NY 14701, they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Project consists of modifying and constructing concrete structures such as curbs and gutters, new ADA sidewalk ramps, tactile warning strips, sidewalks and driveway aprons as part of the partial reconstruction of Hall Avenue within the City of Jamestown. Copies of the Bid Documents may be obtained at the office of the City of Jamestown Department of Public Works, 145 Steele Street, Jamestown, NY 14701, upon a non-refundable payment of $30.00 for each Project Manual. Checks shall be made payable to City Treasurer. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, conditioned that, if the proposal is accepted, the Contractor will enter into a contract for the same, and will execute any such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 45 days of the date of the receipt of bids. Proposals are to be submitted on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Bids must be sealed in an envelope marked "BID DOCUMENTS", project name, bidder's name and address, date and time of opening. The right to reject any and all bids, to waiver any inconsistencies in, or to make any award to other than the low bidder, should it be deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Jamestown, and in accordance with the law, are herewith reserved.
