Legal Notice # 21932182 Notice to Bidders and Newspaper Advertisement The State University of New York at Stony Brook University Hospital will receive sealed bids for project number 24421 titled Rehab & Modernize Emergency Electrical Transfer Equiopment until 11:00 a.m. local time on May 13th, 2026, at Stony Brook University Hospital Purchasing 2000 Ocean Avenue, Suite 1, Ronkonkoma NY 11779, where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. The complete New York State Contract Reporter Advertisement ID#22133989 is available on the following website: https://www.nyscr.ny.gov/ and Complete sets of Contract Documents for bidding may be obtained from Matt DeGudicibus Stony Brook University Hospital Purchasing by e-mail request to Matthew.DeGudicibus@stonybrookmedicine.edu. A mandatory walkthrough and bidders conference will be held on April 23rd, 2026, @ 9:00 a.m. Bidders are to meet by 8:45 am at Stony Brook University Hospital L5 Main Entrance Lobby Information Desk and will then be escorted to the lecture hall for a prompt 9:00 am Start. Bids must be submitted in triplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.
