VILLAGE OF TUXEDO PARK NOTICE TO BIDDERS BID NO. DPW 2026-02 Sealed bids for the SSES Phase 3 Sub-Basins 5, 8, 16, & 17 Public Sanitary Sewer Repairs, Bid #DPW2026-02, for the Village of Tuxedo Park, New York, will be received at the Village Administration Office at 80 Lorillard Road Tuxedo Park, NY 10987 United States until 10:30 AM prevailing time, on May 14, 2026 at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. SSES PHASE 3, SUBBASINS 5, 8, 16, & 17 PUBLIC SEWER REPAIRS The project will be broken out into four sub-basins, with work to include the following: Sub-Basin 5 – Rehabilitation of 21 manholes, with manholes to be re-pointed, benches to be repaired, inverts sealed, and exterior chemical grouted as needed. Installation of Cured-in-Place Pipe liner includes approximately 2,269 linear feet of 6” pipe and approximately 1,329 linear feet of 8” pipe. Sub-Basin 8 – Rehabilitation of 8 manholes, with manholes to be re-pointed, benches to be repaired, inverts sealed, and exterior chemical grouted as needed. Installation of Cured-in-Place Pipe liner includes approximately 1,190 linear feet of 6” VCP pipe. Sub-Basin 16 – Rehabilitation of 12 manholes, with manholes to be re-pointed, benches to be repaired, inverts sealed, and exterior chemical grouted as needed. Installation of Cured-in-Place Pipe liner includes approximately 354 linear feet of 6” VCP pipe. Sub-Basin 17 – Rehabilitation of 9 manholes, with manholes to be re-pointed, benches to be repaired, inverts sealed, and exterior chemical grouted as needed. Installation of Cured-in-Place Pipe liner includes approximately 398 linear feet of 6” VCP pipe. The Contract Documents may be examined, and copies obtained at the Office of the Village Clerk during usual business hours beginning on April 10, 2026. Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained upon request at no charge. Alternately, a pdf of the contract documents may be obtained by contacting John Ledwith, at jledwith@tuxedopark-ny.gov. A non-mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held on April 15, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Village Administration Office at 80 Lorillard Road Tuxedo Park, NY 10987. All proposals must meet the requirements of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York and all other applicable federal, state, and local statutes. Strict compliance with all Federal Labor Standards is mandatory. Minority and Women Owned Businesses are encouraged to submit bids. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all pertinent federal regulations. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder offering a proposal response that best meets the terms, conditions and criteria stated in the bidding documents and as will best promote the public interest, taking into consideration the reliability of the bidder and the quality of the services to be furnished. Statement of Non-Collusion Bidders on the Contract are required to execute non-collusion bidding certificates pursuant to Section 103d of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirement as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facilities, Section 109 and Executive Order 11246. The requirements for Bidders and Contractors under this order, which concerns non-discrimination in employment, are explained in the Contract Documents. Bidders are also required to comply the provisions of Section 291-299 of the Executive Law of the State of New York.
