NOTICE NIAGARA FALLS WATER BOARD WASTEWATER FACILITIES 1201 BUFFALO AVENUE NIAGARA FALLS NY 14303-1514 Notice is hereby given that the following industries were defined as being in Significant Non-Compliance in 2025, of the Niagara Falls Water Regulations Part 1960. This annual notice is required by Section 1960.9.b.6. Niacet Corporation, located at 400 47th Street, Niagara Falls NY 14304 violated the conditions contained in its Industrial Commercial User Permit No. SIU-17. Section C of said permit delineates numeric pollutant limitations. Niacet Corporation maintained high SOC levels and as a result, is in violation of the NFWB's Technical Review Criteria for significant non-compliance. A new scrubber tank was commissioned and returned to compliance in June 2025. St. Gobain Advanced Ceramics, located at 23 Acheson Drive, Niagara Falls NY 14303, violated the conditions contained in its Significant Industrial User Permit No. SIU-47. Section C of said permit delineates numeric pollutant limitations. On several occasions in 2025, limits for total phenol were violated. St. Gobain has not resolved the issue, and a hearing will be scheduled to determine compliance requirements. N#359566 2/27/2026
