CITY OF OSWEGO LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE is hereby given that the Electrical Board of Examiners for the City of Oswego will be administering a Master Electrician License Examination, at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, in the Engineering Conference Room, Third Floor, City Hall, 13 West Oneida Street, Oswego, New York. Applications for the examination may be obtained at the Engineering Office, located on the Third Floor, City Hall, 13 West Oneida Street. Applications are also available on-line at www.oswegony.gov, under “Personnel Employment Applications.” A non-refundable fee of two hundred dollars ($200.00), cash or check made payable to the City of Oswego, is required to be submitted with the application. All applications and fees must be submitted to the Engineering Office by 5:00 p.m., on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. In accordance with Article II., Section 108-12(B) of the Electrical Standards of the City of Oswego, New York, “Applicants for a master electrician license shall have a minimum of seven years' experience directly related to the electrical industry. Five years of this experience shall have been working directly on the installation and maintenance of electrical systems, and three of those five years shall have been on new construction of commercial and/or industrial installations.”
