ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Receipt of Bids: Separate sealed bids on forms prepared by the Engineer will be received by the Town of Mount Hope until 1:00 p.m. on March 31, 2026 at the Town of Mount Hope Town Hall for the Town of Mount Hope - Town Park Splash Pad Project – General Contract in accordance with Drawings, Specifications, and other Contract Documents prepared by Pitingaro & Doetsch Consulting Engineers P.C. The project consists of the following: • Coordinate with the Town of Mount Hope Town Supervisor or his/her designate. • Site Preparation: Prepare, clear, and grade the ground surface for the planned work. • Splash Pad Installation: Furnish and install the Aquasmart Splash Pad and water features package. This includes the concrete pad and surface materials, following manufacturer recommendations. • Public Restroom Construction: Construct the proposed Public Restrooms with a Mechanical Room building as specified. Including but not limited to all materials, mechanicals, fixtures, and finishes as defined in the construction drawings and project schedule. • Plumbing and Drainage: Install all necessary plumbing and drainage systems for both the Splash Pad and the Public Restroom block. • Furnish and install the septic system, water service connection and water tank. • Walkway Installation: Provide and install pedestrian walkways connecting the proposed splash pads and restrooms to the existing car park. • Site Restoration: Clean and restore site conditions upon project completion. The Contractor is responsible for removing all construction debris and ensuring the site is ready and safe for public use. • Ensure that interruptions to surrounding park use are minimized during construction. • The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools and incidentals necessary for Work as specified in the Technical Specifications and as shown on the Plans. Pre-Bid meeting at 11:00 a.m. on March 17, 2026 at the Town Park at 300-316 Finchville Turnpike, Otisville, NY 10963. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 1:00 p.m. on March 31, 2026 at the Town of Mount Hope Town Hall, 1706 Route 211, Otisville, NY 10963. If documents are requested by mail, provide your Federal Express/UPS number or add $35.00 per set. All checks shall be drawn payable to Pitingaro & Doetsch Consulting Engineers P.C. and mailed via first class mail to 20 Industrial Drive, Middletown, NY 10941----OR--- these documents may be sent electronically for $25.00 upon an email request to Linda Kump at lkump@panddengin eers.com. 24 Hour Notice Required For Printed Copies. Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable form of Bid Guarantee in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of the Bid, payable to the Town of Mount Hope as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract and file acceptable Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after the award of the Contract.
