Village of Suffern, New York NOTICE TO BIDDERS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Suffern, Rockland County, New York will accept and read aloud sealed bids until 3:00 pm prevailing eastern time on Wednesday March 18, 2026 at 2:30 pm at the office of the said Board, Village Hall, 61 Washington Avenue, New York 10901 for “Water Department and Wastewater Treatment Plant Chemicals.” All proposal shall be made on the form provided in the specifications. Proposals shall be sealed and marked on the outside of the envelope “Water Department and Wastewater Treatment Plant Chemicals” and shall be addressed to the Village Clerk, Village of Suffern, 61 Washington Avenue, Suffern, New York 10901. Proposals will be publicly opened and read the aforesaid time and date unless bidders are notified otherwise. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bid or to reject any and all bids presented, or to utilize New York State Office of General Services bids and/or local government bids, or to award the contract to other than the low bidder if in the opinion of the Board the best interest of the Village may be served thereby, or re-advertise the proposed work for new bids within the sole discretion of the said Village Board. Bidders are further advised that they must submit non-collusion affidavits together with their bids, in accordance with the requirements of New York State Law. Bidders are advised that they should not include in their bid sales and compensation use taxes.
