Public hearing for Wayland's budget scheduled for April 6, 2026, at 5:45 PM.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING & BUDGET HEARING Pursuant to Section 5-508 (3) of Village Law notice is hereby given that the tentative budget for the Village of Wayland for the fiscal year 2026-2027 has been completed by the Board of Trustees. A copy thereof is filed in the office of the Village Clerk/Treasurer at 15 N Main Street, Wayland, NY where same will remain open to public inspection until April 6, 2026. On this date the Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing at 5:45 PM in the Village Hall to consider said budget before final adoption. Also pursuant to Section 5-508 (3) of Village Law the compensation proposed to be paid annually to each member of the board of trustees is as follows: Mayor $5,000.00 Deputy Mayor $3,450.00 (3) Trustee(s) $3,250.00 Following the public hearing will be the Villages Annual Organizational Meeting, followed by the regular scheduled monthly meeting.
