ERIE COUNTY LEGAL NOTICE Legal Notice West Seneca Fire District # 5 , Erie County, New York Notice of Permissive Referendum NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN that the Board of Fire Commissioners of the West Seneca Fire District # 5, Erie County, New York at a meeting held on the 11 th day of February 2026 duly adopted the following Resolution, subject to a Permissive Referendum. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF FIRE COMMISSIONERS OF WEST SENECA FIRE DISTRICT #5, ERIE COUNTY, NEW YORK TO EXPEND UP TO SIXTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($60,000.00) FROM THE WEST SENECA FIRE DISTRICT # 5 CAPITAL RESERVE FUND TO PAY FOR THE PURCHASE OF: 9 SETS LION V FORCE STRUCTURAL GEAR; 9 PAIRS OF THOROGOOD QR14 STRUCTURAL BOOTS, 15 PAIRS RINGERS HYBRID EXTRICATION GLOVES, 15 GEMTOR NYC HARNESSES (MEDIUM) and 5 GEMTOR NYC HARNESSES (SMALL). That this Resolution shall not take effect until thirty (30) days after its adoption, or until approved by an affirmative vote of the majority of the duly qualified voting electors of this Fire District if a petition, as prescribed by Section 6-g of the General Municipal Law, is duly filed with the Secretary of this District protesting against such Resolution and requesting a referendum as is prescribed in said section of said law.
