ESSEX COUNTY LEGAL NOTICE Legal Notice PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that at a meeting of the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Westport Fire District, held on February 19, 2026, the Board duly adopted a resolution authorizing the transfer of Fifty-Six Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-Nine Dollars and Eighty Cents ($56,759.80) from the District’s Apparatus Reserve Fund (NYCLASS account) for the purchase of ten (10) sets of structural firefighter turnout gear, twenty (20) helmets, and twenty (20) pairs of firefighter boots. Pursuant to Section 6-g(4) of the New York State General Municipal Law, this expenditure is subject to a permissive referendum.
