ERIE COUNTY LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE The resolution, a summary of which is published herewith, has been adopted on March 23, 2026 and the validity of the obligations authorized by such resolution may be hereafter contested only if such obligations were authorized for an object or purpose for which the Town of Amherst, in the County of Erie, New York, is not authorized to expend money or if the provisions of law which should have been complied with as of the date of publication of this Notice were not substantially complied with, and an action, suit or proceeding contesting such validity is commenced within twenty days after the publication of this Notice, or such obligations were authorized in violation of the provisions of the constitution. SPOTH, Town Clerk BOND RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF AMHERST, NEW YORK, ADOPTED MARCH 23, 2026, APPROPRIATING $1,667,950 FOR THE INCREASE AND IMPROVEMENT OF FACILITIES OF THE TOWN’S CONSOLIDATED SANITARY SEWER DISTRICT, AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS OF SAID TOWN IN THE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF $870,000 TO FINANCE SAID APPROPRIATION The specific object or purpose for which the bonds are authorized is the increase and improvement of facilities of the Town’s Consolidated Sanitary Sewer District, consisting of the Reist Street Culvert replacement at Ditch 10 , at the estimated maximum cost of $1,667,950 (2026 CIP Project No. E-1) required in connection therewith, as described in the map, plan and report dated February, 2026 prepared by the Town Engineering Department. The maximum amount of obligations authorized to be issued is $870,000.The period of probable usefulness is twenty (20) years A complete copy of the bond resolution summarized above and the above-referenced map, plan and report shall be available for public inspection during normal business hours at the office of the Town Clerk, Town of Amherst, 5583 Main Street, Williamsville, New York. 4.2.2026
