LEGAL NOTICE PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of East Greenbush will hold a public hearing on February 24, 2026 at the Town Hall 225 Columbia Turnpike Rensselaer NY beginning at 7:30 P.M. to consider the follow- ing application: Appeal number # 2026- 01: The appeal of Josh- ua Meppen of 390 Elliot Road, East Greenbush, NY 12061. The applicant proposes the construc- tion of two 5,166 sq ft buildings for senior housing on a portion of the property located at 390 Elliot Road, East Greenbush, NY 12061, which is Zoned RT. The proposal does not comply with the following provisions of the Town's Compre- hensive Zoning Law: Section 2.6.3(E) - Spe- cific District Standards; specifically, the Princi- pal Buildings Per Lot requirement, which states that there shall be only one princi- pal building and principal use per lot. Therefore, the pro- posed action requires one area variance for the property located at 390 Elliot Road, East Greenbush, NY 12061, Tax Map #167.-4-40.1. Any interested parties may comment in person at the hearing. Written comments may also be submitted to the Zoning Board of Appeals, Town of East Greenbush, 225 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, NY 12144, at any time prior to the hearing.
