COLUMBIA COUNTY ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID TOWN OF CHATHAM PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to resolution of the Town Board of the Town of Chatham, Columbia County, New York sealed bids for the purchase of * Miscellaneous Aggregate * Calcium Chloride * Bituminous Material * Crack Sealing * Tree Service * Winter Sand * Trucking for the period from April 1, 2026 - March 31, 2027 will be received at the Town of Chatham Town Hall, 488 State Route 295, Chatham, New York 12037, Columbia County, NY until 9:00AM (E.S.T) on the 13th day of March, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened at 9:01AM and read aloud at the Town Hall. Bids will be submitted in sealed envelopes at the above address and shall bear on the face thereof the name/address of the bidder and Item(s) bidding. Particular and itemized specifications for each of the above items are available and may be obtained at the Town Hall. The items to be bid on will comply with all specifications. The contract for the purchase of the above items will be awarded by the Superintendent of Highways to the lowest responsible bidder. In cases where two or more responsible bidders submit identical bids as to price, the Superintendent of Highways may award the contract to either of such bidders. The Superintendent of Highways may reject all bids and re-advertise for new bids in his discretion. The Town reserves the right to award portions of the above bid to more than one bidder based upon availability, location of material, location of potential job sites and/or price of the various materials.
