Bond Resolution for school construction and improvements approved by voters.

ESTOPPEL NOTICE The Bond Resolution, a summary of which is published herewith, has been adopted on the 9th day of February, 2026, and the validity of the obligations authorized by such resolution may be hereafter contested only if such obligations were authorized for an object or purpose for which the Barker Central School District, Niagara and Orleans Counties, New York, is not authorized to expend money or the provisions of law which should have been complied with as of the date of publication of this notice were not substantially complied with, and an action, suit or proceeding contesting such validity is commenced within twenty (20) days after the date of publication of this notice, or such obligations were authorized in violation of the provisions of the Constitution. Summary of Bond Resolution 1. Class of Objects or Purposes - the construction of alterations, renovations and improvements to the District's existing buildings and facilities, including, classroom renovation, site improvements (drainage, walkways, asphalt, play surfaces and bleachers), building envelope updates, emergency and communication system updates enhanced safety components, and the acquisition of certain original furnishings, equipment and apparatus and other incidental improvements required in connection thereto for such construction and school use. 2. Period of Probable Usefulness - Thirty (30) years. 3. Maximum Amount of Obligations to be Issued - $11,300,000. The Bond Resolution herein summarized shall be available for public inspection during normal business hours for twenty (20) days following the date of publication of this notice at the District Office, Barker Central School District, 1628 Quaker Rd, Barker, NY 14012. The Bond Resolution was approved at a mandatory referendum of the School District voters held on January 14, 2025. Mary H.
