Sealed bids for fuel delivery due by March 9, 2026.

BID NOTICE



Notice is hereby given that Pursuant to Section 103 of the General Municipal Law of New York State, sealed bids will be received by mail to Brookfield Town Clerk, PO Box 83, Brookfield, NY 13314 or at the Office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Brookfield until Monday, March 9, 2026 at 7:00 pm.



2026 Fuel Bid Specifications:

Please provide fixed price and/or fluctuating price. This bid price will run from April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027.



Mid-Range Gasoline (89 octane)

 1. Approximately 18,000 gallons of Regular gasoline automatic delivery to 550-gallon tank at the Town Barn.



Low-Sulphur Diesel Fuel

 1. Approximately 80,000 gallons of Ultra Low Sulphur diesel fuel automatic delivery to 2,000-gallon tank at the Town Barn. Winter mix (60/40) as needed from 11/01/2026 – 03/31/2027.



#2 Heating Fuel

 1. Approximately 2,000 gallons of #2 fuel oil automatic delivery to 550-gallon tank at the Town Hall Office Building with furnace service contract.
 2.  Approximately 1,200 gallons of #2 fuel oil automatic delivery to tank at Brookfield Fire House, 10517 Main St, Brookfield with furnace service contract.



Propane

 1. Approximately 12,500 gallons automatic delivery to the Town Barn with furnace/heaters/generator service contracts (1 furnace; 5 hanging heaters; 4 wall mount heaters; 1 generator)



**If failure to make automatic deliveries causes the Town to run out of any of these fuels, the supplier will supply Town with 250 gallons free fuel and all maintenance charges to resume operations.**

All bids must be sealed and marked ‘FUEL BID’ and include a non-collusion certificate.




The Town of Brookfield Town Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bids will be opened at the Regular Monthly Town Board meeting to be held at the Town Hall on March 9, 2026 at 7:00 pm.
