TOWN OF MONTGOMERY LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION BY THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF MONTGOMERY SUBJECT TO PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, at a regular meeting held on the 4th day of February, 2026, the Town Board of the Town of Montgomery, New York (the "Town") duly adopted a resolution, an abstract of which follows, which resolution is subject to a permissive referendum pursuant to Town Law Article 7: That pursuant to New York State Town Law §220(3) the Town Board of the Town of Montgomery hereby designates the real property located at 426 NYS Route 17K within the Town, identified as Tax Map No. 26-1-62.2, comprised of 8.30 +/- acres known as the Colden Mansion Ruins as Town parkland. PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Resolution was adopted subject to permissive referendum pursuant to Section 220(3) and Section 90 of the Town Law. The Resolution shall take effect unless a petition calling for a referendum on the designation of the Colden Mansion Ruins as Town parkland is filed with the Town Clerk pursuant to Section 91 of the Town Law within thirty (30) days of adoption of the Resolution. PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the full text of the Resolution is on file in the Office of the Town Clerk and may be examined during regular business hours.
