SUFFOLK COUNTY LEGAL NOTICE TOWN OF SOUTHOLD NOTICE TO BIDDERS REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed proposals are sought and requested for the following: Repower of 2020 SAFE Boat – 300 HP Mercury Outboards Southold Police Department is soliciting proposals from qualified marine service providers to remove and replace the existing propulsion system on a 2020 SAFE Boat with new 300 HP Mercury outboard engines. The selected vendor will provide all labor, materials, rigging, integration, testing, and warranty documentation necessary to deliver a fully operational vessel. Winning bidder is responsible for transportation of the vessel. Complete Bid specifications may be obtained at the Office of the Town Clerk, Town of Southold, Town Hall, 53095 Main Road, Southold, NY 11971. The bid price shall not include any tax, federal, state or local, from which the Town of Southold is exempt. The sealed bid must be accompanied by a Non-Collusive Bid Certificate. All bids must be signed and sealed in envelopes plainly marked, “Bid on 2020 SAFE Boat”, and submitted to the Southold Town Clerk, Southold Town Hall, 53095 Main Road, PO Box 1179, Southold, New York 11971, until 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 26, 2026 at which time they will be opened and read aloud in public. The Town Board of the Town of Southold reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any and all informalities in any bid should it be deemed in the best interest of the Town of Southold to do so.
