GATEWAY PROJECT LANDSCAPING

CONTRACT NO. 1G – GENERAL




Sealed Bids for the Gateway Project Landscaping will be received by the Town of Lake George at the office of

the Town Clerk, 20 Old Post Road Lake George, NY 12845, until 2:00 PM local time, March 6, 2026 at

which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.




The work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, supervision, and materials necessary to complete landscape

maintenance services in accordance with the Scope of Work, Contractor Responsibilities, and Municipal

Responsibilities described in the Bid Documents. A map showing the locations of all areas included in the bid is also provided in the bid documents. Bidders are responsible for reviewing the map and site carefully before submitting their proposals.




The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Suozzo, Doty & Associates, PLLC, 4607 Lake Shore

Drive, Lake George, NY 12845. Please Contact Catherine Hughes at 518.240.6293 or at

chughes@sdapllc.com. Prospective Bidders may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Officer

as described above. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on record with the Issuing Office as having obtained the Bidding Documents.




Bidding Documents may also be examined at the offices of the Town of Lake George, Town Clerk, 20 Old Post

Road Lake George, NY 12845 on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM.




The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their age, race, creed, color, religion, sex, disability, marital status or national origin.




Bidders are responsible for the timely delivery of their Bid proposal to the proper department as indicated in this

"Invitation To Bid".




Bid proposals received after the date and time specified in the Invitation shall be considered unresponsive and will be returned to the Bidder unopened.




Bidders are advised not to rely on the Postal Service or any other mail delivery service for the timely and proper

delivery of their bid proposals.




The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or waive any informalities in the Bidding. Bids may be

held by the Owner for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the openings of Bids for the

purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of the Bidder.
