Project Description:

The applicant is proposing temporary impacts to the regulated adjacent area of a state regulated wetland associated with the installation of approximately 11,000 linear feet of 1 inch sewer force main to support the development of the Griffiss Triangle area. The force main will convey wastewater from a new wastewater pump station to the City of Rome sewage treatment plant. The project site is located within the public transportation right of way along Bell Road South, Floyd Avenue, Park Drive, Mars Drive, Ellsworth Road and along a railway parallel to Ellsworth Road that continues south in the City of Rome.

State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination

Project is a Type I action and will not have a significant effect on the environment. A coordinated review with other involved agencies was performed and a Negative Declaration is on file.
