GENESEE COUNTY LEGAL NOTICE SCHOOL BOARD NOMINATING PETITIONS DUE MONDAY, APRIL 20, 2026 Pembroke Central School District residents interested in serving on the Board of Education must file their nominating petitions by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 20, 2026. Petitions must be delivered to the District Office, which is located in the Junior/Senior High School. The signatures of 25 qualified voters are required on the petition. Petition forms may be obtained from the District Clerk at the district office on business days between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. The following one (1) seat will be vacant this year: * A five (5) year term commencing July 1, 2026 and expiring June 30, 2031, to succeed Amber Winters, whose term expires June 30, 2026. Under the Education Law, candidates must be literate, at least 18 years old, a citizen of the United States and a resident of the school district for at least thirty days preceding the election. This year’s budget vote and election will be conducted between 12:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
