NOTICE OF HEARING ON PROPOSED LOCAL LAW



NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that there has been presented to the Town Board of the Town of Cincinnatus, New York, on February 10, 2026, proposed Local Law No. B-2026 titled, “A Local Law Setting Forth Property Maintenance Standards Within the Town of Cincinnatus and Allowing for Abatement of Violations of the Same.” Said Local Law, if enacted, would provide basic and uniform standards governing the condition, occupancy and maintenance of property for the purposes of establishing reasonable safeguards for the safety, health and welfare of the occupants of such properties, adjoining properties and the general public. The full text of said Local Law is on file at the Town Clerk’s Office at the Town of Cincinnatus Town Hall located at 2770 Lower Cincinnatus Road, Cincinnatus, New York for inspection by all interested persons.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that on February 10, 2026, the Town Board determined that this proposed Local Law is an unlisted action pursuant to the State Environmental Quality Review Act and a negative declaration was adopted at that time.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Town Board will hold a public hearing to consider proposed Local Law No. B-2026 at the said Town Hall on March 10, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at which time all persons interested will be heard.
