SUFFOLK COUNTY LEGAL NOTICE TOWN OF SOUTHOLD NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 17 (Community Preservation Fund) and Chapter 70 (Agricultural Lands) of the Town Code, the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby sets Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., Peconic Community Center Auditorium, 1170 Peconic Lane, Peconic, New York as the time and place for a public hearing for the purchase of a development rights easement on property owned by Pellegrini Holdings, LLC. Said property is identified as part of SCTM #1000-109.-1-8.7. The address is 23005 Route 25, Cutchogue, New York. The property is situated on the northerly side of Route 25. The property is located within the Agricultural-Conservation (A-C) Zoning District and is approximately 35.92 acres. The proposed acquisition is for a development rights easement on part of the property, consisting of approximately 30.00 acres (subject to survey). At least 80,000 square feet of the 5.92±-acre development rights intact reserve area will remain linked to, and be prohibited from being subdivided from, the easement area.
