NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

COUNTY OF ORANGE




PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Legislature of the County of Orange will meet at the Orange County Government Center, Legislative Chambers, 255 Main Street, Goshen, New York 10924 on the 30 th day of March, 2026 at 3:15 p.m. to hold a Public Hearing to receive public comment on a proposed acquisition of equipment for Orange County Sewer District No. 1. The estimated cost of the equipment is $280,000.00.




NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the proposed acquisition consists of:

Road Crew Supervisor’s vehicle at an estimated cost of $65,000 (replacement);

·

Cooling system for Train 3 electrical room at an estimated cost of $25,000 (replacement);

·

Pumps to increase flow at an estimated cost of $35,000 (replacement);

·

Control panels (oxidation ditch carriages) at an estimated cost of $30,000 (replacement);

·

Isolation valve (main valve for Harriman WWTP) at an estimated cost of $20,000 (purchase and install);

·

Process lines throughout Harriman WWTP at an estimated cost of $30,000 (replacement);
