NASSAU COUNTY LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to Article 9 of the New York State Constitution, the provisions of the Town Law and Municipal Home Rule of the State of New York, both as amended, a public hearing will be held in the Town Meeting Pavilion, Hempstead Town Hall, 1 Washington Street, Hempstead, New York, on the 10 th day of March, 2026, at 10:30 o’clock in the forenoon of that day to consider the enactment of a local law to amend Section 202-52 of the code of the Town of Hempstead to REPEAL “BUS STOPS” at the following location: LEVITTOWN CORNFLOWER ROAD North Side – NO STOPPING BUS STOP – from the west curbline of Jerusalem Avenue west for a distance of 80 feet. (Adopted 5/24/60) ALL PERSONS INTERESTED shall have an opportunity to be heard on said proposal at the time and place aforesaid.
