Public Hearing on zoning appeals in Town of Lee on March 17, 2026.

PUBLIC NOTICE:

The Town of Lee Zoning Board of Appeals will conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Lee Town Hall, 5808 Stokes Lee Center Road, Lee Center, to address the following appeals:

Appeal 789: Bartell Machinery Systems L.L.C., 6321 Elmer Hill Road, Town of Lee, seeks to appeal from Section 106, Schedule of District Uses{Commercial/R-20}, for an area variance for a commercial structure to extend out of the commercial zone into a R-20 zone at property designated as Tax Map Parcel No. 188.001-4-42.

Appeal 790: April P. Martin, 8698 Cook Road, Town of Lee, seeks to appeal from Section 106, Schedule of District Uses {R-A}, for a Special Use permit to construct an accessory apartment and seeking to use accessory apartment as a bed and breakfast part-time at property designated as Tax Map Parcel No. 185.000-1-1.2.

Appeal 791: Christine Casadei, 4973 Brookfield Road, Town of Lee, seeks to appeal from Section 107, Schedule of Schedule of Land Use Controls, for an area variance to construct a pole barn (in the place of a mobile home that has been removed), thereby reducing the 20’ side distance to 8’ at property designated as Tax Map Parcel No. 169.000-1-54.

All interested parties are invited to attend. The appellants and other interested persons should be aware that an audio recording will be made of these proceedings, but the Town of Lee Zoning Board of Appeals does not provide a transcript of the recording, nor is the quality or accuracy of the recording guaranteed. Rather, interested persons should make alternate provisions for stenographic services, mechanical recordings or accurate note taking.
