NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

For the purpose of Establishing a One (1) Year Moratorium on “Battery Energy Storage Systems in the Town of Walton”.

Please take notice that the Town of Walton will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, April 13, 2026 at 6:00 P.M at the Walton Theatre, 81 Gardiner Place, Walton, NY 13856, regarding, establishing a One (1) Year Moratorium on “Battery Energy Storage Systems in the Town of Walton”.

A copy of the Local Law is available for public inspection during normal business hours at the Town Clerk’s office, 129 North Street, Walton, New York. At such public hearing, all persons will be given an opportunity to be heard. Written and oral statements will be taken at that time. Time limitations will be imposed for each oral statement, if necessary.
