LEGAL NOTICE



NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that in accordance with New York State Agricultural Law, Article 25-AA, Section 303-b, Schuyler County has established an annual enrollment period for landowners to petition the county to include their lands in one of the three Schuyler County Agricultural Districts. During the 2026 enrollment period, the county received requests to add 230.46 acres of farmland. A public hearing to accept public comment on the addition of the parcels to Schuyler County’s Agricultural Districts will be held on April 13, 2026 at the Schuyler County Courthouse, 105 Ninth Street, Watkins Glen, NY at 6:30 p.m.
