NOTICE OF ADOPTION At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury held on April 20th, 2026 at the Queensbury Center, Town of Queensbury, 742 Bay Road, Queensbury, New York, the following was adopted and is subject to permissive referendum: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF 2026 RAM 5500 4X4 CAB AND CHASSIS AND RAM 3500 CREW CAB AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT FOR CEMETERY DEPARTMENT RESOLUTION NO.: 162, 2026 INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Timothy McNulty WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mrs. Rachel Hajos WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury’s Cemetery Superintendent has requested Town Board approval to purchase the following from Main Motorcar: 1. 2026 Ram 5500 4x4 Cab and Chassis with upfitting of a dump body, snowplow and sander by T&T Sales, Inc., to replace a 2013 Ford Dump Truck (Town Asset No. 9016) in accordance with Main Motorcar’s 2026-04-10 Quote for the total pricing amount of $100,069.00; and 2. 2026 Ram 3500 4x4 Crew Cab with upfitting of a snowplow and LED flashers by T&T Sales, Inc., in accordance with Main Motorcar’s 2026-04-10 Quote for the total pricing amount of $58,685.00; and WHEREAS, New York State Bidding is not required as the proposed purchases are under NYS Office of General Services Contract #PC68941, and WHEREAS, in accordance with New York State General Municipal Law § 6(c), the Town Board is authorized to withdraw and expend funds from Capital Reserve #64 subject to permissive referendum, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby approves and authorizes the Town Cemetery Superintendent’s purchase of the following: 1. 2026 Ram 5500 4x4 Cab and Chassis with upfitting of a dump body, snowplow and sander by T&T Sales, Inc., to replace a 2013 Ford Dump Truck (Town Asset No. 9016) in accordance with Main Motorcar’s 2026-04-10 Quote substantially in the form presented at this meeting and NYS Office of General Services Contract # PC68941 for the total pricing amount of $100,069.00; and 2. 2026 Ram 3500 4x4 Crew Cab with upfitting of a snowplow and LED flashers by T&T Sales, Inc., in accordance with Main Motorcar’s 2026-04-10 Quote substantially in the form presented at this meeting and NYS Office of General Services Contract # PC68941 for the total pricing amount of $58,685.00; and to be paid for from Heavy Equipment Account No.: 002-8810-2040 ($100,069.00) and Vehicles Account No.: 002-8810-2020 ($58,685.00), and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes the Town Budget Officer and/or Director of Finance to transfer $158,754 from Capital Reserve No.: 64 to Heavy Equipment Account No.: 002-8810-2040 ($100,069.00) and Vehicles Account No.: 002-8810-2020 ($58,685.00), amend the Town Budget and increase appropriations and revenues as follows: · Revenue Acct No. – 002-0000-5031 (Interfund Revenue) - $158,754.00; · Expense Acct No. – 002-8810-2040 (Heavy Equipment) - $100,069.00 ; · Expense Acct No. – 002-8810-2020 (Vehicles) - $58,685.00 ; · Increase Appr 001-9901-9128-0064 Transfer to Operating Funds - $158,754.00 ; and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes the Finance Department to engage the services of auction company GovDeals to sell/dispose of the 2013 Ford Dump Truck (Town Asset No. 9016) and deposit any sales proceeds into the appropriate revenue account(s) in accordance with the Town Code and New York State Laws, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes the Town Supervisor, Cemetery Superintendent, Town Budget Officer, Director of Finance and/or Finance Department to take any actions needed to effectuate payment to Main Motor Car and/or T&T Sales, Inc., and this Resolution, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that this Resolution is subject to a permissive referendum in accordance with the provisions of Town Law Article 7 and the Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town Clerk to publish and post such notices and take such other actions as may be required by law.
