CITY OF CORTLAND RFQ CITY OF CORTLAND WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT INFASTRUCTURE STUDY REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS The City of Cortland has been awarded an Environmental Facilities Corporation Engineering Planning Grant (EPG) to evaluate the Wastewater Treatment Plant, including its unit processes and infrastructure [EPG No. 2297]. Background and Scope: The City of Cortland was awarded an engineering planning grant to fund a study to address the aging wastewater treatment plant infrastructure. The City was previously awarded an EPG and WQIP grant to ensure compliance with the Chesapeake Bay TMDL requirements. In addition to compliance, the WWTP has multiple unit processes at various stages of aging, including tanks, building envelopes, and process equipment. The purpose of the report would be to identify the issues, discuss alternative improvements, and present a selected alternative, including estimated capital, O&M, life-cycle costs, and other non-monetary factors. Contract amount: up to $48,000.
