Spring Cleanup in Penn Yan April 1st – 24th Village employees will be collecting leaves, tree branches (no larger than 3” in diameter) and yard debris beginning April 1st and ending April 24th, starting at Burns Terrace and ending at Red Jacket. One final pass will begin April 27th. Brush can be taken by homeowner to the Village dumpsite, by appointment only, after the final pass. We strongly encourage cleanout of creeks behind properties with spring cleanup. The debris for collection should be piled between the sidewalk and the edge of the street. PLEASE DO NOT PILE DEBRIS NEAR UTILITY POLES, GUY WIRES, FIRE HYDRANTS, SIGN POSTS, WATER VALVES, TREES, STORM CATCH BASINS OR ANY OTHER OBSTRUCTIONS. We will NOT collect large tree limbs, appliances, pieces of lumber, construction debris, plastic bags or any yard debris in plastic bags, furniture or other household items.
