LEGAL NOTICE PUBLIC HEARING ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS of the CITY OF BINGHAMTON NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Binghamton Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on 5/12/2026 in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Binghamton, New York, at 5:15 p.m. At that time, parties of interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard in reference to an application by Matzo Electric Signs, pursuant to Section 410-94 of the City of Binghamton Zoning Ordinance, for Sign Variance for installation of (9) 4.125ft2 window signs (decals) where maximum of two (2) window signs are allowed per business frontage at 217 Court St, Binghamton, New York. The property is located in the C-1 Service Commercial District. The proposal is an Unlisted Action per the New York Environmental Quality Review act. This application is available for inspection by appointment at the office of the Planning Department, City Hall, Binghamton, New York, 13901-3776. Planning Department staff may be reached at (607) 772-7028 to answer any questions regarding the application. Persons wishing to offer testimony at such hearing may do so in person, by attorney, or other representative. If you are unable to attend in person or by representative, you may address in writing any concerns you have about the proposed project, either positive or negative, to the Chairperson of the Zoning Board of Appeals at the aforementioned address or by email at planning@cityofbinghamton.gov.
