Public meeting for pavement improvement project on Robinson Road in Lockport.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING NEW YORK STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION PROJECT IDENTIFICATION NUMBER 5011.38 Pavement Improvement Project NY Route 93; Lockport Bypass to Raymond Rd City of Lockport and the towns of Lockport and Pendleton, Niagara County The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) will hold a public information meeting for the proposed pavement and safety improvement project on Robinson Road (NY Route 93) from Lockport Bypass to Raymond Road as well as the intersection of Lockport Bypass and State Street, in the city of Lockport and the towns of Lockport and Pendleton. The proposed alternative includes a new two-way center turn lane on Robinson Road from Lockport Bypass to Raymond Road and additional turning lanes at the intersections of Robinson Road and South Transit Road (NY Route 78) and Robinson Road and Beatty Avenue. Additionally, the proposed project includes a new traffic signal and modified trail crossing at the Lockport Bypass and State Street intersection. The meeting will be held in an open forum format at the following date and time: Wednesday, April 29, 2026, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Lockport Town Hall 6560 Dysinger Road, Lockport, NY 14094 There will be no formal presentation at the meeting. There will be displays and informational stations staffed with NYSDOT representatives familiar with the various aspects of the proposed project. NYSDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and discuss the proposed project.
