Notice of Public Meeting Clinton County will hold a Public Information Meeting to discuss the proposed rehabilitation of the bridge carrying Military Turnpike Extension over the Saranac River in the Towns of Plattsburgh and Schuyler Falls. The meeting will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, April 20th, 2026, at the Town of Plattsburgh Offices, 151 Banker Road, Plattsburgh, NY 12901. The project will involve rehabilitation of the bridge superstructure and associated approach work. Traffic will be maintained by an on-site with signalized alternating single lane traffic. The project is being progressed as a BridgeNY Project by Clinton County and is currently in the preliminary design phase. Representatives from Clinton County, NYSDOT, and Stantec Consulting Services Inc. will be available at the meeting to answer questions and obtain comments on the proposed project from individuals, groups, officials, and local agencies.
