NOTICE OF THE ANNUAL SCHOOL DISTRICT MEETING

FOR THE PULASKI CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Meeting of the residents of the Pulaski Central School District, Oswego County, New York, who are qualified voters in such school district will be held in the Ringgold Fire Department on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. for the transactions of such business as is authorized by the Education Law. Also, on May 19, 2026 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. in the Ringgold Fire Department, 12 Lake Street, Pulaski, New York, the qualified voters of the school district will vote on the 2026-2027 budget.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN at said Annual District Meeting and Budget Vote to be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 the qualified voters of the school district will vote on any propositions that may come before the Board of Education.

NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that petitions nominating candidates for the office of Board of Education members must be filed with the District Clerk in the District Office no later than 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 20, 2026. Such petitions must be signed by at least twenty-five (25) qualified voters of the school district, and must state name of candidate and the residence of each signer. Petitions are available in the office of the District Clerk.

NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that applications for absentee ballots are available in the office of the District Clerk between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. A list of all the persons to whom absentee ballots shall have been issued will be available in the office of the District Clerk on the days immediately prior to May 19, 2026.

NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that if an absentee ballot is to be requested by mail, the request for an absentee ballot must reach the Clerk at least seven (7) days prior to the May 19th election. If the ballot is to be requested personally to the Clerk, the application may be picked up from the Clerk up to the day before the election.

NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that Military Voters who are qualified voters of the School District may obtain an application from the District Clerk at 2 Hinman Rd., Pulaski, NY 13142, Telephone (315)298-5188, or email gbrandano@pulaskicsd.org, not later than 5:00 P.M. on April 24, 2026. In a request for a military ballot application or ballot, the military voter may indicate their preference for receiving the application or ballot by mail, facsimile transmission or electronic mail.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVENthat pursuant to Section 2018-e of the Education Law, applications for early mail ballots may be obtained at the Office of the District Clerk no earlier than April 21, 2026 and by May 12, 2026, if the early mail ballot is to be mailed to the voter. If the early mail ballot is to be delivered personally to the voter at the Office of the District Clerk the completed application must be received by the District Clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. on May 19, 2026. A list of all persons to whom early ballots have been issued will be available in the Office of the District Clerk during office hours on and after May 12, 2026 until May 19, 2026, except on Saturday May 16, 2026 by prearranged appointment. A challenge to an early voting ballot may not be made on the basis that the voter should have applied for an absentee ballot.

NOTICE of the following vacancies to be filled on the Board of Education:

1. Board member for three (3) year term due to the expiration of the term of the last incumbent, Chad Farmer.

2. Board member for three (3) year term due to the expiration of the term of the last incumbent, Christine Weisenburger.

NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that copies of the proposed 2026-2027 school budget with estimated revenues and expenditures for the 2026-2027 school year will be available at the office of the District Clerk in the Lura M. Sharp Elementary School from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. during the fourteen days prior to the May 19th annual meeting, other than Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays. Copies will also be available at the Annual Meeting.

NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that a Budget Hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. in the Pulaski High School Library.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that voting by paper ballot will take place at the Ringgold Fire Department on Tuesday, May 19th, 2026 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., upon the matters set forth below:

1. To vote upon the adoption of the budget for said school district for the school year commencing July 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2027.

2. To elect two (2) members to the Board of Education for three (3) year terms.

3. To vote on other propositions that may come before the Board of Education.
