LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE OF COMPLE- TION OF TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL AND HEARING OF COM- PLAINTS (PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 506 AND 526 OF THE REAL PROPERTY TAX LAW) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the As- sessor for The City of Rensselaer, Rensselaer County, NY, has com- pleted the Tentative As- sessment Roll for 2026 and a copy thereof has been filed with the City Clerk, where it may be seen and examined by any person interested therein until the fourth Tuesday in May. The Assessor, will be in attendance with the roll at City Hall, 62 Washing- ton Street, Rensselaer, NY on May 7 th 9am to 1pm, May 9 th 9am to 1pm, by ap- pointment only, May 12 th 9am to 1pm and May 20 th 4pm to 8pm. The Board of Assess- ment Review will meet on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 between 4pm and 8pm, to review complaints in relation to assessments of real property. A publication containing procedures for contesting an as- sessment can be ob- tained online at http:// www.tax.ny.gov/pit/ property/contest/con- testasmt.htm .
