LEGAL NOTICE Please take notice that the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Valhalla Fire District, Town of Mt Pleasant, County of Westchester, State of New York, at its regularly scheduled monthly meeting held on Wednesday April 8, 2026, at 330 Columbus Avenue, Valhalla, New York, a resolution was adopted, an abstract of which as follows: Resolved that the Secretary-Treasurer of Valhalla Fire District be authorized to withdraw from the Repair Reserve Fund heretofore established for the repair of capital improvements or equipment a sum of $12,000.00 for new tires for R9 and E84. Please take notice that the adoption of this resolution is subject to a Permissive Referendum and shall take effect thirty (30) days after its adoption, unless there shall be filed in the interim with the Fire District Secretary, a petition signed and acknowledged and approved in the same manner as a deed to be recorded by resident tax payers of the assessed valuation of all taxable real property of the Fire District as such valuation appear on the latest completed assessment roll of the Mt Pleasant protesting and requesting that it be submitted to the qualified electors of the Fire District for their approval.
