VILLAGE OF WALDEN BOARD OF TRUSTEES

RESOLUTION NO. 2-26-27

A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATES, TIMES AND LOCATIONS OF MEETINGS OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF WALDEN FOR THE 2026-2027 OFFICIAL YEAR

WHEREAS, the New York State Open Meetings Law (Section 104 of the Public Officers Law) requires public notice of the time and place of a meeting scheduled at least one week prior thereto shall be given to the media and shall be conspicuously posted in one or more designated public locations at least seventy- two hours before such meeting; and,

WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Village of Walden desires at this time to set the dates, times and locations of the Annual Organizational Meeting for the 2026-2027 Official Year.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Walden that meetings of the Board of Trustees will be held on the following dates at 6:30 pm in the Municipal Building located at One Municipal Square:

Tuesday, April 7, 2026; Tuesday, April 21, 2026; Tuesday, May 5, 2026; Tuesday, May 19, 2026; Tuesday, June 2, 2026; Tuesday, June 16, 2026; Tuesday, July 7, 2026; Tuesday, July 21, 2026; Tuesday, August 4, 2026; Tuesday, August 18, 2026; September 1, 2026; Tuesday, September 15, 2026; Tuesday, October 6, 2026; Tuesday, October 20, 2026; Tuesday, November 3, 2026; Tuesday, November 17, 2026; Tuesday, December 1, 2026; Tuesday, December 15, 2026; Tuesday, January 5, 2027; Tuesday, January 19, 2027; Tuesday, February 2, 2027; Tuesday, February 16, 2027; Tuesday, March 2, 2027; Tuesday, March 23, 2027; and Tuesday, April 6, 2027;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Walden that the date, time and location of the Annual Organizational Meeting of the Board of Trustees for the 2026-2027 Official Year shall be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2027 at 6:00 pm in the Municipal Building located at One Municipal Square; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Walden does hereby direct the Village Deputy Clerk to provide a copy of this resolution to the publisher of the official newspaper(s) of the Village of Walden and to conspicuously post a copy of this resolution on the bulletin boards located outside the Village Offices on the third floor of the Municipal Building within forty-eight hours of adoption of this resolution.

Motion to adopt by Trustee Garrison and seconded by Trustee Hall. The vote was 7 ayes to 0 nays with 0 abstentions. The Mayor declared the resolution adopted on April 7, 2026.

The foregoing is a true and complete copy of a resolution adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Walden at a regular meeting held on April 7, 2026. Public notice was given and the meeting was conducted in full compliance with the New York Open Meeting Law (Public Officers Law, Sections 100- 111). Minutes of the meeting will be available as provided by law.
