GENESEE COUNTY LEGAL NOTICE Absentee Ballots Pembroke Central School District qualified residents can obtain and use absentee ballots for District elections. To obtain an absentee ballot, residents must submit an application and be unable to appear at the vote in person for one of the following reasons: * Absence from county on election * Temporary illness or physical disability * Permanent illness or physical disability * Duties related to primary care of one or more individuals who are ill or physically disabled * Resident or patient of Veterans Health Administration Hospital * Detention in jail/prison, awaiting trial, awaiting action by a grand jury, or in prison for conviction of a crime or offense which was not a felony Anyone with a permanent illness or disability need only apply once for an absentee ballot. If this pertains to you, please contact the Genesee County Board of Elections. If determined eligible, absentee ballots will be mailed prior to future elections without reapplication. Applications must be received at the District Office at least seven (7) days before the election if a ballot is to be mailed to the voter.
