Request for Proposals CONSULTING SERVICES- TOWN ZONING CODE The Town of Chautauqua hereby invites submissions of proposals from qualified planning and zoning consulting firms to undertake a comprehensive and user-focused update of the Town’s Zoning Code and Zoning Map. This pivotal initiative aims to implement the objectives set forth in the recently completed joint Comprehensive Plan between the Town of Chautauqua and the Village of Mayville, ensuring all land-use regulations are both clearly defined and enforceable, favoring predictable outcomes for applicants while enhancing usability for the public and operational efficiency for the Town administration. Consultants are required to demonstrate adherence to New York State Town Law, SEQR (NYS ECL Article 8), and any pertinent county referrals pursuant to General Municipal Law §239-m. The Town of Chautauqua retains the right to reject any or all proposals, waive minor informalities, and enter into scope and fee negotiations that align with the best interests of the Town.
