SECOND NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Re-noticing and Extending Bid Opening Date for

Tupper Boathouse Rehabilitation – Electrical Construction

WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Southampton previously authorized the advertisement for bids for Tupper Boathouse Rehabilitation – Electrical Construction , with an original bid opening date of Wednesday, March 18, 2026, by 2:00 pm. ; and

WHEREAS, the Community Preservation Fund Department, has requested to extend the deadline for the submission of bids to ensure maximum competition and to allow prospective bidders additional time to review; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary to re-notice the updated bid opening date to all known prospective bidders and the general public; now therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Southampton hereby amends the notice to bidders for Tupper Boathouse Rehabilitation – Electrical Construction to extend the bid opening date; be it further

RESOLVED, that sealed bids will be received by the Town Clerk, Southampton Town Hall, on or before Wednesday, April 15, 2026, by 2:00 pm, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud; and be it further

RESOLVED, that the town clerk is hereby directed to publish a notice of this extension in the official newspaper of the town
