ESSEX COUNTY ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE TO BIDDERS TO APRON EXPANSION (PHASE 1) AT THE TICONDEROGA MUNICIPAL AIRPORT TICONDEROGA, NEW YORK Sealed bids for the Apron Expansion (Phase 1) project will be received at the office of the Supervisor of the Town of Ticonderoga, in the Community Building, 132 Montcalm Street, Ticonderoga, New York 12883 until 11:00 AM., local time, Tuesday, May 5th, 2026 and there, at said office, at said time, publicly opened and read aloud. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Apron Expansion (Phase 1)”. Each bid shall be submitted with the original and a duplicate copy of the entire Bid Section for this project. This project consists of the expansion of the existing aircraft tie down apron. The project generally includes the expansion of approximately 2,550 SY of asphalt pavement, aircraft tie downs, pavement markings, a new 780 SY gravel access road including utility relocation, and associated grading. The project will be bid as a Base Bid only. Prevailing wage rates apply. Contractors must be bonded and insured to the level indicated in the Contract Documents. The project is sales tax exempt. A complete set of Bid Documents, consisting of the General Provisions, Special Provisions, Technical Specifications, Bid, Agreement and Contract Drawings, will be available on Tuesday, April 14th, 2026 and may be obtained from Passero Associates at www.passero.com under the ‘BID’ tab for a fee of $25.00 (Non-refundable). A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the Town of Ticonderoga, in the Community Building, 132 Montcalm Street, Ticonderoga, New York 12883 at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 21st, 2026. Copies of the above described Contract Documents may be examined at no expense at the office of Passero Associates, 94 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12003, by appointment only. Technical questions shall be directed to Zach Hale of Passero Associates via email at: zhale@passero.com. All questions shall be submitted via email no later than Tuesday, April 28th, 2026. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Preparation of Proposal.
