ERIE COUNTY LEGAL NOTICE LEGAL NOTICE TOWN OF CHEEKTOWAGA COMPLETION OF 2026 TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL (Pursuant to Section 501 and 506 of the Real Property Tax Law) Notice is hereby given that as of May 1, 2026, the Assessor of the Town of Cheektowaga has completed the 2026 Tentative Assessment Roll pursuant to Section 501 and Section 506 of the Real Property Tax Law. The Tentative Assessment Roll will be open for public viewing from May 4, 2026, up to and including May 27, 2026, at the Cheektowaga Town Hall, 3301 Broadway, Cheektowaga, New York, 14227 during the work hours from 9:00 AM to 4:15 PM and on the Town of Cheektowaga website https://tocny.org/departments/assessor per requirement of RPTL section 1590 (2). The Assessor will be in attendance with the Tentative Assessment Roll Tuesday May 12, 2026, 4:00pm to 8:00pm and Saturday, May 16, 2026, 9:00am to 1:00pm by appointment only, and available for walk in’s Tuesday May 5, 2026 and May 19, 2026 from 12-4. Appointments are to be scheduled via phone or by email to assessmentoffice@tocny.org. The Town of Cheektowaga Board of Assessment Review will meet on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at the Cheektowaga Town Hall, 3301 Broadway, Cheektowaga, New York, 14227 starting at 10:00 AM, to hear and examine all verified written complaints in relation to such assessments. A completed grievance application (RP-524) must be submitted to the Assessor’s Office, Cheektowaga Town Hall, 3301 Broadway Cheektowaga, NY 14227 on or before Grievance Day, Wednesday, May 27, 2026, for the complaint to be considered by the Board of Assessment Review. Applications are accepted in person, via Town Hall drop box, located at 3301 Broadway Cheektowaga, NY 14227, using the Assessor’s Office website https://www.tocny.org/departments/assessor or by US Mail.
