CITY OF ANNA MARIA, FLORIDA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS BEFORE THE CITY OF ANNA MARIA PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD AND CITY COMMISSION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Anna Maria Planning and Zoning Board will hold public hearings on February 20, 2026 at 9:00 A.M., or as soon thereafter as may be heard. The hearings will be at City Hall of the City of Anna Maria, 10005 Gulf Drive, Anna Maria, Florida 34216, to consider: A request for a variance to the 15-ft waterway setback requirement for the installation of a retaining wall along Tampa Bay located at 853 North Shore Dr. The following text amendment to Chapter 110 Waterways of the City of Anna Maria Code of Ordinances: ORDINANCE NO. 26-954 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANNA MARIA, FLORIDA, AMENDING SEC. 110-73 "BULKHEADS AND SEAWALLS" AND SEC. 110-74, AND "REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT OF SEAWALLS AND BULKHEADS"; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, CODIFICATION, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. All interested parties may appear at the meeting or utilize optional attendance by telecommunications media and be heard regarding this request.
