Notice of Found Property: The Daytona Beach Police Department is holding the below listed found/abandoned property. Pursuant to F.S.S. 705, the property (unless claimed by the rightful owner) will be retained for use by the Daytona Beach Police Department, donated to a charitable organization, traded to another government or state agency, surrendered to the finder, sold at the next auction, or destroyed. All interested persons making claims against said property may call the Daytona Beach Police Department Property & Evidence Department at (386) 671-5460. When you call, please have the approximate date of loss and a complete description of the item. You must provide proof of ownership or must be able to sufficiently identify any/all markings. You must also present a valid ID to claim.
