NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources, through the Division of Parks and Watercraft, pursuant to and in accordance with the provisions of Sections 1501.09 and 1501.10 of the Ohio Revised Code proposes to lease for the operation of the Lake Hope State Park Dining Lodge and Cabins, Vinton County, Ohio.
The lease will be for a term of approximately ten (10) years from Spring 2026 to February 1, 2036.  Said lease may be renewed at the option of the Director for a period not to exceed four (4) years.
The Division of Parks and Watercraft will provide the following areas and facilities at Lake Hope State Park:  The Dining Lodge, which includes public spaces, balconies and patios, kitchen, dining room, storage areas, meeting room, gift shop, two office spaces, and public restrooms; sixty-one (61) two-bedroom family cabins, each including kitchen and dining areas, bathroom, living room, and a screened-in porch (except cabins #1-23 do not have a screened in porch); six (6) three-bedroom cabins, each including kitchen and dining areas, bathroom, living room, and a screened-in porch; the Laurel Lodge, which includes eight (8) bedrooms, five (5) baths, a large kitchen, living room, lounge room, and storage area; additional three buildings to be used for completing minor maintenance and storage of equipment and supplies, including one building adjacent to Cabin 67 (the "Cardinal Cabin") and two buildings located Southwest of the Cabins and Dining Lodge on Long Ridge Road off of Ohio Route 278.
The Department will furnish most major equipment and furnishings as specifically enumerated in the bid specifications.  The Concessionaire will furnish all other equipment, merchandise, materials, supplies, and labor necessary to operate the concession to approved standards during the seasons of operation and daily hours as defined in the lease specifications.
            Prospective bidders wishing to inspect the premises may do so by attending the scheduled visitation of the facilities to be held at the Lake Hope Dining Lodge on February 24, 2026 at 1:30 PM.  ODNR representatives will be present to answer questions in reference to the bid and about the facilities under lease.
Sealed bid proposals will be received in the office of the Division of Parks and Watercraft until 3:00 p.m., March 11, 2026.  Bids will be publicly opened thereafter by the Chief or his authorized agent.  The right is reserved to reject any and all bids.
