ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS LEGAL NOTICE Sealed bids will be received by the Clerk of Council, City of Middleburg Heights, Ohio, at Middleburg Heights City Hall, Council Office, 15700 Bagley Road, Third Floor, Middleburg Heights, Ohio 44130 until 11:00 A.M. on March 25th, 2026 for the General Pavement Services for 2026 within the City of Middleburg Heights. Copies of the specifications, bidding forms and any addenda must be purchased at https://order.e-arc.com/arcEOC/ARCHPlanRoom.aspx. Bidders shall be responsible for printing & delivery fees. Fees are not refundable. Bids will be publicly opened and read by the Director of Finance immediately after 11:00 A.M. on March 25th, 2026. Each BID must contain the full name or names of the interested parties, and in the case of a corporation not chartered in Ohio, with a proper certificate that such corporation is authorized to do business in Ohio, and be accompanied by bid guaranty in the form of either a certified or cashier's check drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Ohio, together with a consent of surety, in the amount of 10% of the total bid, made payable to the City of Middleburg Heights or a bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent of the total bid drawn in favor of the City of Middleburg Heights, as prescribed in O.R.C. 153.54, and as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into with the City, and in default, thereof, said check or bond will be forfeited to the City of Middleburg Heights as liquidated damages. Bidders must use the printed forms of proposal available as aforesaid, as none other will be accepted. Contractors shall be required to pay prevailing wages on this contract in accordance with Chapter 4115 of the Ohio Revised Code. The Contractor shall make the necessary adjustment in the prevailing wage rate and pay any wage increase during the term of the contract. Information on wages may be obtained through the Ohio Department of Commerce, Labor and Workers Safety, Wage and Hour. The Council of the City of Middleburg Heights, Ohio reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in the bids received, and to accept any bid which it deems most favorable to the City.
