Licking County Water & Wastewater Notice to Contractors Harbor Hills Water Booster Replacement 001.03.1 DOCUMENT 001.03 NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Sealed bids for the Harbor Hills Water Booster Replacement project will be received by the Licking County Board of Commissioners, 20 S. Second St., Newark, Ohio 43055 until Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 1:00 PM local time, and then and there publicly opened and read aloud. In addition to a hardcopy submission, each bidder shall submit a digital copy of their bid on a USB Flash Drive within their bid packet. The Harbor Hills Water Booster Replacement project includes replacement of a below grade booster station with a new above grade, packaged booster station. Project also includes site work and utilities and decommissioning of the existing booster station. Bid Documents as prepared by Verdantas may be examined free of charge during normal business hours at the following locations: Verdantas LLC, 1555 W. Main Street, Newark, Ohio 43055, Ph. 740-344-5451 Licking County Water & Wastewater, 4455 Unit A, Walnut Road, Buckeye Lake, Ohio 43008, Ph. 740-928-0302 Complete sets of bidding documents may only be purchased through Verdantas LLC. Bidders may obtain electronic bidding documents upon payment of $25.00 (non-refundable) in the form of cash or check payable to Verdantas LLC. Credit card payments are not accepted. Bidding documents may also be obtained as hardcopy upon receipt of $100.00 plus $20.00 shipping fees at the above office. Bidders are required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid Price or certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit equal to ten percent of the bid amount to guarantee the Bidder's entrance into a contract, if awarded the project. Each bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the bid and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity, and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided within these Bid Documents. Each Bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap, ancestry, or age. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project shall to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Licking County as determined by the State of Ohio Wage Determinations. The Engineer's estimate is as follows: $427,000.00 Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission. In the event that the Owner is unable to obtain an Agreement with the Bidder initially selected, the Owner may award the contract to the next bid, most favorable to the Owner. The right is reserved by the Owner to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in bids received and to accept any bid which is deemed to be the lowest and best bid.
